Jade Gebbie
Jade is a freelance comedy writer, stand-up comedian, audio editor, and dog lover.
Jade has written on a variety of comedy shows including The News Quiz, The Now Show, Museum of Curiosity, DM's Are Open, to name a few. She also has two scripts in development with BBC Studios.
In 2022 Jade was named one of two BBC Comedy Contract Writers.
Jade has gigged across the country as well as in New Zealand where she lived for a few years. Jade was a semi-finalist of the Komedia New Act Competition 2020, a Funny Women Nominee in 21/22, and co-runs/ hosts a night at the Caroline of Brunswick (Brighton) - Cackle Comedy
After studying Radio Production at the University of Westminster, Jade worked as an audio editor and has produced as well as created a number of Podcasts. Jade has also recently completed a two-year master's in Comedy Writing at Falmouth University.
